• When i first read this book, i was hooked and immediately tried my best to be just like a greatful slave. Needless to say, i failed. Then i realized the most important lesson of all don't compare yourself and your service to anyone else, ever. It's ok to seek out positive role models and mentors, but you still must be yourself, not a copy of them.
  
  The principles are well described and easy to understand. Use this book as a guideline to take which parts work for you (and your Owner/Master/et al) and tailor them to your relationship(s). Make it your own.
  
  And remember...no one is perfect.
• This was written in a way that allowed persons to gain individual knowledge of how the other side thinks. I believe that it was written very well for the information that it presented. Slavecraft gave me some insight into understanding the processes and place that a person's mind is in while maintaining their desire to serve and how deeply these desires can consume them.

• Good read for a Master or slave. Not fantasy, well written through experience.
• I personally didn't care for it but I would recommend it as sound advice for people who are interested in this way of life, especially if they have no one to mentor them.
• Best book on the subject of master/slave relationships for real not fantasy. Seriously.
• Reads like a college paper. More of a info/research read then a casual read.
• If you are interested in the power exchange lifestyle this is a must have book. Not only have I read the book but I have actually met and spoken with Guy Baldwin. When I got involved in a power exchange relationship this was required reading. Not only did it outline the basis of the relationship it was quite helpful in daily life outside the relationship. If this is a lifestyle you are interested in this book will give you some insight into the lifestyle and things to think about (about yourself) before you decide to take the next step. I highlighted and read several parts of this book many times.
• I have read it twice now. I really enjoyed this book. I have also bought a few as gifts to my friends. It is a slow and sort of boring read but the context that is in it, really is great! If this is where your head is then I think this is a must read.
