Rescue Jack Forge Lost Marine Book 2 eBook James David Victor Reviews

  • The friendship between the 2 main characters. Plenty of action and new characters. The explanation of the aliens is short and to the point.
  • What I don't like is reviews. Just because I like a book does not mean that everyone else will also. That being said this set of books , and there is a set, not one or two. I'll just tell you they are very good. Sometimes I buy a book and after a few lines , " that's over " however that is not the case with this set. Yes, I have read them all and they are wonderful, enjoyed each and everyone of them. That's not saying that you will enjoy the set, but this time I think most people will.
  • After finishing the last page, my mind kept replaying the book's writing cadence. Sort of like a pesty song you can't get out of your head. The writing is formuliac...each sentence very much the same format. Strongly suggest getting an editor who can help -- insert short sentences. Some, perhaps more than some, if varying lengths. Really, the author shows wonderful potential. But I'll wait until his writing is stronger before reading more.
  • As it was stated, none stop action. From this old soldier, revenge is best served cold. I trust that is what we'll see/read in the next adventure of our two heroes.
  • Jack and Sam in a message again, quick thinking and acting as usual.
Can't wait for the next few books
  • It is a good story with good characters. Would definitely recommend. My only complaint is that each book takes you along the most logical path with very little deviation. Every word revolves around Jack Forge with some very brief interactions between the bridge crew of the Scorpio. This narrow perspective can sometimes make the book seem like a really long chapter.
  • I wonder what happened to the rest of Jack's battalion and hope they get more supply and find a way to defeat this enemy
