Malem's back, and he's free of Vorgon and all things demon.
It's time to enjoy the fruits of his labor. His newly acquired army is building a city for him and his companions in the forest. He hasn't figured out how he's going to pay his soldiers, but he's confident things will work out he has a few princesses and queens serving on his personal advisory board, after all, and they have some experience in nation building (among other special talents).
He also has a couple of new women who've recently joined his team, and they need to be brought up to speed, in more ways than one.
But it isn't all fun and games in the Kingdom of Malem. Building a new city in the heart of monster territory is bound to attract some attention, and not the good kind. So when he faces a large-scale attack from an unknown enemy, it doesn't really come as a surprise.
To stave off this latest threat, Malem must once more don his Breaker's hat and return to the fray with his lovely companions.
Featuring hot women, ugly monsters, a good old-fashioned dungeon crawl, and a massive battle between armies.

Emperor Monster Tamer Book 4 eBook Isaac Hooke Reviews
- The book is fast paced, at time leaving you holding your breath. Somehow Malem, seems to keep one step ahead of the dark powers that follow his every step. Highly recommended.
- This book is the best in the series with a balance not seen in the previous books. Perhaps a little more light in the future books will be better for the balance to swing again
- The series keeps on getting better. The book leads to good future for the books to come can not wait.
Thanks for the read really enjoyed - These books are a fun read and I highly suggest them. It's a unique take on the fantasy genre that's pretty entertaining.
- I thought I was getting tired of this series but once I got back into the story I resented any time I had to put my book down. Malem just can't keep away from trouble, its drawn to him like a magnet. Having defeated Vorgon in the last book you'd think he'd take a little time off and just BE for a while but no he's going to go off again looking for more trouble. Now I do grant him someone else started the whole thing off but he seems to love it and thirsts for the adventure.
So we get to meet more different characters and monsters and find out more about the past in this novel. Interesting locations too, very easy to visualise. Advance/beta reading for Isaac is a pleasure as always. - I have to admit i struggled with the previous book, a bit of a love and hate relationship. This book brings back all the charm and fun of the earlier books into something even greater. Even using the last book to really help push the growth of the characters. Looking forward to seeing the breaker build his kingdom and navigate his personal life. If you were on the fence after the last one give this one a chance it is well worth it.
- If you are starting here... dont. Start at the beginning and make sure not to miss Defiler. It's dark. But a good dark. Now back to Emperor! Like any horror series the evil monster comes back.... stronger! This is not a hero book. Its fantasy. The evil monster is back and wants revenge, Malem must find a way to defeated hime and like all good books twists you dont see keep coming. Thank you again for keeping me entertained Master Hooke.
- Another good episode in this series that I strongly recommend you start in order if you have never read any of the others. Once more the odds are staggering and the challenge to find a way to win seems impossible here. The world building also continues with introductions to new and interesting characters and locations.
